This is a static informational website. Ink & Quill does not use website forms, advertising pixels, analytics, behavioral tracking, or promotional mailing lists. We do not knowingly collect personal information merely because you browse the site.
Information you choose to provide
If you call, email, visit the office, use the Square appointment link, or request services, you may voluntarily provide contact details, identification information, transaction records, documents, payment information, or other information needed to evaluate and perform the requested service. Information supplied through Square is handled through Square’s systems and privacy practices.
How information is used
Information may be used to communicate with you; schedule appointments; prepare, notarize, research, record, courier, or otherwise coordinate requested documents and transactions; maintain business and notarial records; process payments; prevent fraud; protect clients and the business; and comply with applicable law or a lawful request.
Sharing and disclosure
Ink & Quill does not sell personal information and does not share it for third-party advertising or promotions. Information may be provided to a receiving agency, recorder, courier, translator, service provider, payment processor, professional adviser, or other person when reasonably necessary for a requested transaction, with your direction, or when required by law.
Cookies and tracking
Ink & Quill does not place its own analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this static website. External services reached through our links—including Square, Google, and Facebook—may collect information under their own policies. Their practices are outside our control.
Security and Louisiana breach requirements
We use reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. If a qualifying breach occurs, Ink & Quill will address notification obligations under applicable law, including the Louisiana Database Security Breach Notification Law, La. R.S. 51:3071 et seq., when applicable.
Retention
Records are retained only as reasonably needed for the service, business administration, recordkeeping, dispute prevention, or legal and regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by document and transaction.
Children
The website is not directed to children under 13. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult should contact us regarding documents involving a minor.
Your choices
You may ask what contact information we maintain about you or request a correction by contacting us. Some records cannot be changed or deleted when retention is necessary for a transaction, notarial record, legal obligation, security, or dispute.
